Funeral services for Sylvia Katherine Sauerbry, 82 of Colcord will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, AR. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home of Locust Grove.

Mrs. Sauerbry was born September 27, 1925 in Woodward, OK to Ralph and Daisy (Butler) Bunch. She died August 22, 2008 in Siloam Springs, AR. Sylvia grew up in Woodward. She married Wilbur Sauerbry on November 12, 1966 in Huntsville, AR. The couple had lived in Rogers, then moved to Flint Ridge for 8 years and moved to Neosho before returning to Rogers. Sylvia worked for Tyson Foods, Allen Canning Company and also operated a home daycare center. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

She is survived by husband Wilbur of the home; 4 sons, Billy and wife Carol of Chickasaw, OK, James of Kansas City, MO, Jerrell of Centerton, AR and Wilbur Jr. and wife Jessica of Yelm, WA; 3 daughters, Janice Holidy and husband Don of Edmond, OK, Annette Meeks and husband Corbee of Miami, and Alice Shelton and husband Tommy of Colcord; Grandchildren, Jimmy, Cary, Jenifer, Jesse, Wilbur III, Jonathan, Charlotte, Kenneth, Alicia, Alyssa, Krissa, Jerry, Destiny, Lushanna and Lance; 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Vern Bunch of Cuba, KS; and step sister, Mary Lou Williams of Siloam Springs, AR.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Betty Sue Todd and Gayl Postoak, her parents, brothers, Ralph Bunch, half brother, Emmet Madden and sisters, Pauline Bunch and Annabelle Williams.
